Mrs. Tushner has worked with families and children for many years. Starting in the medical offices, she later transferred to the classroom. Mrs. Tushner has worked as a substitute teacher, a paraprofessional for Special Ed students, and most recently in her own classroom before giving up teaching to be mommy to her two-year-old miracle baby girl.  

An Arkansas native, Mrs. Tushner received her Bachelor of Education in 2013 from Arkansas State University. She graduated with a 4.0 having pursued interests in students with special learning needs.  

Mrs. Tushner had a life-changing experience with the Lord when she was 17 and has never looked back, growing in Him ever since. After her marriage to Andrew Tushner 10 years ago, she moved to Louisiana, where she currently lives. Mrs. Tushner, her husband, and baby girl, Abigail, attend Evening Light Tabernacle. She helped run the projector in church for about five years before having a baby and currently works in the church library. Mrs. Tushner enjoys spending time with family/church family, drinking coffee, reading, and crocheting. She also enjoys lettering and being creative on her iPad.  

Having always loved math, Mrs. Tushner is enjoying teaching it again and is quite excited to be teaching at Bibleway Academy Online. She has enjoyed her time at BAO so far and is looking forward to what the Lord has in store for the coming year.  Her goal is to be a positive influence on her students and help encourage them in their walk with the Lord. She feels grateful for the opportunity to utilize her college education, teaching the Bride of Christ around the world.
