Sarah Carroll
Mrs. Carroll has been a teacher for many years. She began her adventure in education, teaching English I, English IV, Spanish I, and Spanish II at Waskom High School, and Exploratory Spanish to seventh and eighth graders at Waskom Junior High in East Texas. After getting married, she left the public sector and Texas, but she continued to teach privately. She has taught Spanish to multiple homeschool students, has served as a private tutor, has taught Sunday School, and, for one year, coordinated a preschool for several children at her church. Mrs. Carroll has homeschooled all four of her sons, beginning in 2001. For the past several years, she has taught classes to 4-H students at Project Celebration Day.
Beginning her adventure in teaching in East Texas, Mrs. Carroll graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree. She majored in both Spanish and English and earned a teaching certificate in secondary education.
Currently, Mrs. Carroll resides in East Tennessee and attends Word of Life Church. Brother Donny Reagan is her pastor. Through the years, Mrs. Carroll has enjoyed organizing and assisting with many events including Vacation Bible School, Fall Festival, youth banquets, and special dinners.
Mrs. Carroll enjoys living near her historic town of Jonesborough, Tennessee, where she takes walks as often as she can. Her favorite activities are reading, working puzzles, baking, and collecting baskets and multiple sets of dishes. Hosting a tea party is her idea of a day well spent.
Mrs. Carroll teaches an upper-level English class and Spanish I at Bibleway Academy Online. She has been teaching for BAO since 2020, and she considers it a privilege to teach students of her faith.
